Small Joys: vii

Gathering up things that brought joy this week and taking a moment to be grateful.

-- At midnight on Wednesday night, as we were going to sleep, Dave said he had a hankering for ramen. We got up and made some. It felt so rebellious and crazy. Just a little bit like the old college days.

-- I'm notorious for not going to the gas station. This morning my jeep was below empty, but I was already late for work. I made it to work, but wasn't quite sure how I'd make it to the gas station at the end of the day. I looked out my office window and saw Dave filling my tank from a gas can. I know I can take care of myself, but Dave does it better.

-- I'm excited that we're going to be home tomorrow morning because it means we can go to the farmer's market. It's one of my favorite things and I love how it's become our weekend at home ritual.

-- This hoodie. I got it in charcoal a month ago. It's organic, fair trade, on sale, and ΓΌber soft. It came out of the mailbox looking, feeling and wearing like an old favorite. Highly recommend.

-- The short week. Four days and it's the weekend again. Hurrah!
